Hello! I am the founder of Inch by Inch Child Development Center! Inch by Inch began in my home in 2011. In 2014, I was beyond fortunate to find this beautiful space, which we now call "home". I started teaching in 2005, while obtaining my Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies at San Jose State University. After completing my degree, my husband and I moved to Oregon, where I continued my journey in Early Childhood Education. Being an Early Childhood Educator and having the ability to build a space that truly fosters development and nurtures young minds has been a dream come true. I believe that children need the opportunity to get messy, explore, create, and make discoveries Their potential is endless when they are surrounded by opportunities that support their growth!

Ms. Lisa joined our community in September 2018, and helped start the Transition class. She came to Inch after running an in-home daycare for several years. Lisa has a CDA. Lisa LOVES working with 2 and 3 year old children. She is creative and imaginative with her curriculum, beyond nurturing, and overall an amazing human who cares deeply about the wellbeing of her students. In addition to teaching, Lisa enjoys spending time with her 3 children, frequenting the beach, and camping.
